UGLY: New Songs Posted Online
July 18, 2005UGLY, the Louisville/Detroit-based band formed from members of Lava/Atlantic's OUTSPOKEN and Detroit favorite BRIDGE, have just unveiled four new songs. Recorded in Ann Arbor, MI with Michael Lutz (BROWNSVILLE STATION founder/TED NUGENT bandmember) at his Tazmania studio. The band have completed seven songs for their as-yet-untitled record that will hopefully be hitting shelves after the first of the year. The four newest songs — "24 Hours", "Friday Night", "Sex, Drugs and Rock And Roll" and "Life of the Party" — are available for stream or download through their MySpace page.
UGLY will be headlining a hometown show in Louisville on Friday, July 29 at the Headliners Music Hall before heading back to Ann Arbor to finish the record. UGLY guitarist Kevin McCreery is also a touring member of Maverick/Sire band TANTRIC and a Peavey endorser.
